  Wadacre Farm Day Nursery is committed to creating a safe secure environment in which:

  • To make the transition from home to nursery a happy, secure experience which will compliment and extend the range of learning and experiences that the child has already at home

  • To provide a curriculum which caters for the all round development of each child through purposeful play that has been planned and is pleasurable to the child

  • To take into account the range of needs of the children, when planning day to day activities

  • To develop the children’s early knowledge, understanding and skills to build the firm foundation for later education

  • To support the children’s needs

  • To work and liase with other agencies involved in the child’s welfare

  • To ensure the staff work as a team, to share ideas and expertise, thus creating a warm, caring atmosphere for the children in our care

  • To involve all the staff in the planning of the daily routine

  • To promote equal opportunities, irrespective of gender, ethnic origin or socio-economic background
